New Ram 1500 Rebel Offers "Bad to the Bone" Appearance, Good Off-Roading Capability, Says MotorWeek

The Ram 1500 large pickup truck has gained a loyal following - and growing customer base - in recent years by being tough and reliable, from the worksite to the ranch. Now Ram is beginning to offer some variations on the theme to further broaden the truck's appeal. MotorWeek just had the opportunity to review one of the latest - the Ram 1500 Rebel.

The Rebel's engine is a classic Ram 5.7-liter Hemi V8, cranks out 395 horsepower and 410 pounds of torque, and gets from 0-60 mph in about seven seconds. The Rebel's innovative air suspension system also enables the truck to be raised to as high 10.3-inches of ground clearance, and MotorWeek reports plenty of traction regardless of the road (or off-road) conditions.

Perhaps most striking is the big truck's appearance, which has received a tough, muscular treatment, including a unique, twin-snorkel hood, that adds to the feeling of driving - or being chased by - a wild, snorting beast.

We have a full inventory of Ram pickup trucks, including the new 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel, on site here at Lancaster Dodge. Stop by today for a test drive.
